Olaria Collection revisits ceramics with a technological appeal

The co-creation between Eliane and Studio Arthur Casas arrives in 2024 with launches that exalt ceramics and technology. Discover the Olaria collection!

The starting point for Olaria was to rescue the differentiated effect that each piece has and create a product with a unique chromatic subtlety to bring environments to life.. The colors, the textures, and volumetry, the impact of light are some of the elements that exalt the essence of what ceramics is, the use of clay, the originality of the pieces.

The insight for creating the collection came after a visit to the century-old Casa Zalszupin, in Sao Paulo. Arthur says that the iconic ceramics on the museum floor sparked his interest, bringing back a childhood memory, as the site's coverings contain references to Brazilian modern art, orchestrated in open spaces with plenty of light.

“It was fashionable in the 70, raw ceramics, and I wanted to bring the burning back to Olaria. The main thing about this collection is not just the color of the raw ceramics, but the different nuances that the burning causes and that give identity to each piece”, says Arthur Casas.

The Pottery series, that carries the same name as the collection, combines natural tones and textures with a slightly oxidized and detonalized surface, referring to the firing in ancient ceramic kilns. The soft dark dots represent soot, while the slightly dented relief reveals an aesthetic that is pleasant to the touch.

On the other hand, Olaria brings innovative and unprecedented technology to the national market. The DUO finish is more than a concept, is a modern instrument for a more authorial and integrated architecture. DUO perfectly reproduces natural materials and sensorial texture, covering both internal and external environments. Ie, DUO is gentle indoors and tough outdoors.

Another attribute of the Olaria series is modularity. A trend that allows maximum customization with a variety of sizes that fit together – a “planned clutter” that has pagination intelligence, allowing unique compositions that escape the obvious.

Among inspiring colors and formats, co-creation also stands out for its formats. In addition to rectangular and square, Olaria arrives in two new versions: MOS and HEX. Mosaic and hexagonal prefix brings new options for tiling, with irregular cuts made by hydrojet – a technology that ensures that the edges of the pieces have a more rustic and artisanal appearance.
